Series Info

The Michigan Harvest Virtual Run Series is comprised of four races of varying distances and timed to highlight the harvest of crops that are a large part of Michigan’s agricultural community.  The Cherry Run takes place from July 15thto July 31st and features a 5k. Apple Dash participants can choose a 5k or 10k  option and run in this virtual race from August 1st  to August 31st. In the month of September, experience the Hops harvest as the Hop Trot offers a 5k or 15k option.  The Grape Stomp concludes the series with a 5k and half marathon option, offering suggested courses with views of Michigan’s vineyards.

This year racers will receive: 

  • 5 medals that form one final design 
  • Curated course that will take you for a journey along Michigan's agricultural beauty 
  • Peer support groups on Facebook & Strava
  • A custom digital bib 
  • Sponsor goodies in your race packet (mailed at no charge) 
  • Option to purchase a tech tee or a tank with this years design on it. 

This race is a fundraiser for The Festival Foundation, a 501c3. Thank you for your support! 

 


Please note: Many of the suggested racecourses may cross intersections or run alongside roads, please use caution when running around traffic areas. Also, in light of COVID-19, please be sure to follow your region's guidance on social distancing.

 

With the common goal to promote physical activity, health, and wellness the Michigan Harvest Virtual Run Series is proud to be endorsed by the Michigan Fitness Foundation and the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports. As an endorsed event the Michigan Harvest Virtual Run Series will apply to challenger’s swag points.
